After our fiasco of a morning, we decided to try again. After naps, we headed over to the McKinney Oktoberfest which was a German festival they were hosting.
We had fun walking around and looking at all of the German collectibles, smelling all of the German food, and listening to the live German music.
It reminded me of my Grandparents' house. It brought back many memories and made me wish I was with them now. It was a lot of fun. We contemplated buying some lederhosen for the kids, but we refrained. They would look so cute in their German attire though! Weston especially looks extremely German when he sleeps. It makes me smile. Maybe someday we will dress them all up!
