A Visitor

We were lucky to have Roland's sister Nabeha come and stay a week with us.  The kids enjoyed having an extra person around the house and soaked up all the attention.

Nabeha arrived the afternoon of Thursday October 7.  Friday was Roland's day off, so we took a trip into Dallas to ride a street car trolley.  The trolley drives through parts of Downtown Dallas, including the art district and fun shopping and restaurants.  Weston loved that we were riding a "train."  The driver even tooted the horn several times which got Weston's attention really fast.  The ride was pretty uneventful and there wasn't a whole lot to see since we weren't getting off, but we still had fun.  Both Weston and Natalie enjoyed sitting on the benches and exploring the controls.  So many things to look at!

Saturday we took a trip to the zoo.  We did the same 'ole thing we do everytime.  We went to Africa, walked around a lot, looked at alligators, walked some more, looked at big snakes and frogs, went to the kids playground area, walked even more, then went home.  As always, the kids had fun.

Sunday and Monday were down days.  We didn't really do much.  The kids just enjoyed having Nabeha around.  Then Tuesday morning we drove her to the airport.  Thank you Aunt Nabeha for coming to play with us.  We hope you had fun.  We sure did!
