Saturdays

Saturdays are special.  It seems like we don't ever get to spend that much time together as a family with all of the commitments we have.  But, it seems like Saturdays are always a little different from the usual mundane routine.  After Daddy finished his required homework time, we headed out for a little family outing.

One of the things that I love about where we live is that there is always something fun to do.  Today we decided to go to a local shopping plaza.  In the back they have a beach.  What a fun way to spend the day.

We did some climbing....

Some sifting, digging, and shoveling....

Some chillin'....

Some horseshoes....

And the highlight of the day?  Running through the fountain!  The kids had sooooo much fun!  They were a little hesitant at first because they didn't want to get wet.  They tried to cautiously play in the fountain but once they got wet, they went for it.  There were certainly lots of giggles, squeals, and smiles.  They even grabbed our hands and we all went running through them.

Natalie even started drinking the water.

She was making me laugh.  By the end, both kids were drenched from head to foot.  We had such a blast.  I love my family.  They make me so happy.  I am so blessed.
