A Visit from Aunt Hillary

Thursday October 28, 2010

We have had a lot of visitors lately.  We are enjoying our time with family while we can get it.

Aunt Hillary spent a week with my parents so we met up with Hillary, Andrea, and Grandma for a trip to the zoo.

The zoo was decorated for Halloween so the kids were excited with the new sights to see.  One item of particular interest was of course the pumpkin.  What is even better than one pumpkin?  Lots of pumpkins!

We spent a long time with the pumpkins.  There was lots of climbing on, moving around, jumping off of, sitting on, and petting of the pumpkins.

Weston enjoyed carrying the pumpkins around

I love Natalie's wild hair

Her expression cracks me up

Weston was sitting on the pumpkin and decided to stand up right as I took the picture
We eventually left the pumpkins and moved on.  Both Weston and Natalie just ran and ran.  They were having so much fun.

They even discovered their new favorite thing - acorns!  We spent several minutes under a tree collecting acorns.  They loved it.

Natalie is trying to hold onto as many acorns as she can without dropping them

We had a wonderful time.
